API for Pyhton and C++
Applications
RAD detectors support a wide range of advanced X-ray applications:
X-ray imaging
Time-resolved experiments
Synchrotron-based techniques
Laboratory-based X-ray systems
Sensor Geometries
PIMEGA offers two sensor head assembly options:
Sensor thickness options: 500, 675, or 1000 µm.
Overlapped sensors (gapless)
For medium-to-far sample-to-detector distances, minimizing dead area. PITEC's image restoration package applies a geometric correction algorithm to compensate for the overlapping sensors' distortion.
Coplanar sensors
For close-distance sample positioning.
Sensors Options
RAD detectors are available with different semiconductor sensors to match the application energy range.
Silicon (Si): ideal for low to mid-energy X-rays
Cadmium Telluride (CdTe): optimized for higher-energy applications
